Norma Oneil. Floor. December 14th , 2017.
Now the fun begins, and the first order of business is to choose the right floor plan that is consistent with the home you have pictured in your mind’s eye - and the property on which it will be built. Odds are you’ll probably not open a magazine by chance and stumble upon a floor plan that has occupied your dreams all these years. Choosing a plan and refining the design to meet your needs will require some research, self-introspection and creative inspiration.
Braided rugs are a great addition to any home that wants a comfortable feel but not too formal looking. Braided rugs are self explanatory, it’s three strips of fabric braided together and then woven into a pattern, usually circular. For an oval rug the center braid should be one inch longer than the width-length in feet. Braided rugs are extremely sturdy, long wearing, comfortable to walk on and are usually easy to care for. A glance in any department store catalog will give you several options to choose from. Some require professional cleaning, others are spot clean, others require spills be sponged up quickly. Today’s rugs are usually reversible so you get double life out of them. When one side is stained too badly or starts looking rough, just turn it over.
Install the Ceramic Tiles. Start with the center and move outwards with each ceramic tile. Use thin set mortar or tile adhesive to set the tiles, make sure that the bond between the tile and the sub-floor sets by applying pressure on each tile. After the tiles have set, complete the process by applying the grout. Remember that the grout must be of the same color as the tiles you have chosen. Remember that each step requires twenty-four hours to set and dry before allowing yourself to proceed to the next step of your ceramic tile flooring installation.
Different Kinds of Tiling Material. Natural materials for kitchen tile flooring include porcelain, quarry, pebble and stone. These ties are textures, rough and durable - and also, relatively more expensive. They offer a great authentic look to your kitchen and give it that extra classiness that you might be looking for. Porcelain and ceramic is easily chipped and damaged - and one needs to replace the tiles often. A good idea would be to use glazed ceramic or porcelain tiles for your kitchen tile flooring - although you would have to be careful on the smooth surface.
